Navakaraṇa Hṛdayam [Shanghai Kula]
Hṛdayam literally “the essentials”
A teacher training
doesn’t focus on “the harvest it could reap”
but on the “quality of the seeds to be planted”.
Teaching is the art of sharing.
Navakaraṇa Summer in Mongolia [2017]
Mongolian Summer with Navakaraṇa
This summer we are planning a Teacher Training at Ulāmbātar, followed by immersion classes in the blooming nature and a retreat in the Desert!
Why a Retreat in the Desert? 1~5 July 2017 Gobi [Mongolia]
Summer is very near. I can’t wait to see again Mongolia, the Mongolian Navakaraṇa teachers, and all my Mongolian friends of the contortion and acrobatic club. The location of the upcoming retreat is very unique: the Gobi! At difference from other deserts, the Gobi offers varieties of environments including rocks and mountains, not merely the sand-dunes. Nomads and shamans are the only few inhabitants of the Gobi living in small tends (gers) and moving from place to place with camels and horses due the drastic changes in climatic conditions during differs seasons. Nothing more than this place has the potential to guide us into a genuine experience with ourselves and with the Nature, discovering silence, inner peace and simplicity. I will introduce my students in the forgotten practices of Yoga including Upavasa (abiding near the Self) and Āntara Mauna (Inner Silence) by residing few days into a desert camp away from the worldly life. We will have daily lectures and gentle practice. We’ll also explore deferent areas of the desert. I hope we will have chance to encounter desert shamans and traditional local artists.
You can find more details about the upcoming retreat on the link below:
